St. Christopher, the first Caribbean island to be permanently settled by both the English and the French (who shared the island between 1627 and 1713 ), was a model and a springboard for English and French colonialism in the Caribbean and elsewhere.

Our beautiful nation is turning 30 and what better way to celebrate such a milestone than in a fun, family oriented, healthy activity on a beautiful Saturday morning at our Federation's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Yes, it's the 30th Independence Anniversary Brimstone Hill Run for the Fit and Fearless, on Saturday 21 September from 7-10 am.

  • Registration 18 to 100+ years old EC $10.00
  • 17 and under EC $5.00
  • Registration ends Friday 13 September at 4 pm
  • Additional EC $10.00 for late registration. Late registration ends Tuesday 17 September at 3 pm.
  • Registration forms may be collected at the offices of the Brimstone Hill Society, Taylor's Range, Basseterre; the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park; the St. Christopher National
Trust (Old Treasury Building, Bay Road) and several of the island's major hotels. Register now to avoid disappointment! Whether you're 30, under 30 or over 30, it's a great age to be Fit and Fearless!
